- I am a 28 year resident of San Anselmo. I know what it's like to raise a family here. I want to keep that small town feel, and if you live here, you know what I mean by that. This place is special.
- I recently retired from 33 successful years in public service law enforcement, including chief and captain positions. I imagine that I know every street in San Anselmo. If an issue on your street comes up in Town Council, chances are good that I can picture it.
- I am experienced in public sector budgeting, which will come in handy because it's a huge priority in the coming years.
- I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Saint Mary’s College.
- I am a fifteen year member of the Rotary Club of Ross Valley, past President 2006-07 and also 1998-99.
- I have a reputation of being approachable with all members of the public.
- I have a reputation for being an effective consensus builder in conflict situations. It's easier to get things done when you respect other people and can get along with different personalities.

Main Issues For San Anselmo
This is an important election. Experience matters. Here's what I think are San Anselmo's most pressing issues.
Public Services

I will be working to improve public services, including Library access, recreation programs, and upkeep of parks and median islands.
Schools

Our public schools are among the best in the entire state of California. Sir Francis Drake High School (shown above) consistently scores near the top in the state. So do our elementary schools Brookside (lower and upper) and Wade Thomas. I want to keep it that way.
Police and Fire Departments

I think most people just take it for granted that our outstanding police and fire departments will always be there. That requires proper planning and wise decisions. I have the experience necessary to help guide the town in the right direction.
Flood Control

Simply put, the town will flood again if we don't take corrective action. The time to do something is now.
Streets of San Anselmo

We need to protect the charm and character of our commercial and residential neighborhoods. Our streets and infrastructure are in need of repair.
Keeping Our Small Town ... Small

San Anselmo retains a small-town charm. You would never know we are fifteen miles from San Francisco. Every major decision has to be considered for it's effect on the way we live.
Open Space

We need to protect our San Anselmo scenic hillsides from over development and work towards acquiring trails and additional open space.
